Standard Setups

A typical setup consists of one TX unit and one or more RX units. The TX transmitter is connected to a tally source. This can be a contact to ground, a voltage signal, or a photodiode. The TX then transmits the entire tally status to any receivers.

An RX unit is set to the same channel. As soon as it detects the transmitter, it displays the tally status. Depending on the display mode, it shows the elapsed time, a camera number, or just the tally color.

For productions, only program tally RED is used.

Setup Wi-Fi is enabled only for configuration. During normal operation, Setup Wi-Fi is disabled. This conserves resources and ensures the device operates as stably as possible.
