vMix29 has established a fantastic new media transport protocol, OpenMediaTransport (OMT).
This allows media files to be distributed easily within the local network. Unlike NDI, this protocol is license-free. I wish this product a successful launch into the media world.\\

I have developed a small OMT Player for Windows that allows you to receive OMT streams (video + audio) directly on the network. The application is based on the official libomt SDK (thanks Martin) and uses NAudio for audio playback.\\

==== Note ====
If no source is found (even though one is running), please check the Windows firewall. For me, it helped to turn off the firewall or create a rule for OMTplay.exe.

Tested with vMix (standard OMT settings) – 1080p50 = approx. 150–170 Mbit/s arrive in the player.

Works perfectly for me, even wirelessly on a WiFi6 network.

This is not mature production software :-)
